Contrary to what you might think, these soaps don't smell like beer, but offer all the benefits of hops on the skin. In fact, hops are known to contain skin-softening amino acids that can help soothe irritated and inflamed skin. Adding beer to the soap makes it even more moisturizing, as well as providing a generous lather that makes it all the more enjoyable to use. In addition, the brewer's yeast in beer acts as an antibacterial agent, ideal for fighting acne. Beer generally contains a quantity of vitamin B, which acts as a moisturizer and antioxidant.
NakedPagan soaps are made entirely by hand using the cold process method with only the finest quality ingredients which gives them an abundance of lather and a longer life. Since all of our soaps are handmade, colors may vary slightly from one batch to the next, each soap is unique.
Our soaps have been cured for at least 4 weeks but handcrafted soap will continue to evaporate water and lose weight. This makes a finer, longer lasting bar.

Sodium Hydroxide: Necessary for traditional cold-process soapmaking; no lye remains after saponification.
Aqua: Water acts as a solvent in the soapmaking process, allowing oils and sodium hydroxide to saponify into a gentle cleanser.
Beer: Adds sugars that boost lather and richness in soap while contributing a warm, malted aroma.
Prunus armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil: A light, nourishing oil that softens skin and enhances the silkiness of the soap.
Oryza sativa (Rice Bran) Oil: Rich in antioxidants and gentle on the skin, it helps create a balanced, conditioning lather.
Persea gratissima (Avocado) Seed Oil: Moisturizing and vitamin-rich, avocado oil supports skin health and adds creaminess to the bar.
Vitellaria paradoxa (Shea) Butter*: Deeply hydrating and soothing, shea butter is ideal for dry or sensitive skin, adding luxurious richness.
Garcinia indica (Kokum) Seed Butter*: Adds nourishing fats that protect the skin and give the soap a dense, stable lather.
Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Milk: Boosts creaminess and soothes the skin, lending a smooth feel to the final bar.
Sodium Lactate: A natural humectant that helps the skin retain moisture and contributes to a harder, longer-lasting bar.
Myroxylon balsamum pereirae (Balsam Peru) Oil: Warm, resinous, and slightly sweet, this essential oil is skin-soothing and lends a grounding aroma.
Pogostemon cablin (Patchouli) Oil*: Earthy and musky, patchouli supports skin regeneration and balances oil production.
Kaolin (Kaolin Clay): A soft, white clay that gently cleanses and detoxifies while adding a silky slip to the soap.
