New Mom Care Kit

Our NEW MOM collection includes Postpartum Nourish Tea, Nursing Mama Tea, Postpartum Sitz Bath, Breast Balm, Baby Bum Balm and an Essential Oil Aromatherapy Inhaler, which will help in handling the difficulties following child birth. When used together, this care package helps to ease postpartum ailments, stress, anxiety and aiding fatigue, while also healing the damage child birth can have on the body.

In the early days of motherhood as much as you would like to take time to rest, there’s a new baby that needs your love and attention and self-care can easily slip out of your schedule. An herbal sitz bath is a great way to help you relax, speed up healing, soothe the perineum, and help with hemorrhoids – and not to mention take a few much needed minutes for yourself. Herbal sitz baths are a mixture of herbs that you can place directly in your bathtub or even in a small basin that fits over your toilet to soak in after giving birth. Each herb is chosen for its benefit to the postpartum healing process. Gotu Kola's anti-inflammatory and tissue building actions as well as its ability to stimulate collagen production in the skin makes it useful for both internal and external wounds, reducing scarring, strengthening the skin tissue and making it an excellent post-birth support herb. Comfrey leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with relieves pain and inflammation, and helps speed up the recovery of wounds. Lavender aids in relaxation and promotes skin regeneration, along with antibacterial properties. And Yarrow is used for women’s pelvic cramping, intestinal gas, bloating as well as helping to protect against bacteria, blood loss, and inflammation while promoting the growth of new healthy tissue. Simply fill your bath tub with 6-8 inches hot water, then fill the included sachet bag with 2 tbsp of the bath soak blend, and simply sit and relax.

Having a new baby is an incredible time of joy. It is also a period of intense transition and adjustment. The herbs in our Postpartum Nourish Tea blend feed the nervous system and adrenals, helping you to deal with the fatigue and stress of caring for a tiny person around the clock. This blend also encourages connective tissue healing, which is helpful for both vaginal and cesarean births.

Our Nursing Mama Tea blend is designed to help restore our new mom and keep her replenished with the essential vitamins and minerals for a healthy breast milk supply. Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle are traditionally used to stimulate lactation. Drinking this tea two to three times a day for the first two weeks after birth can help ensure robust Milk production throughout the entire nursing period

Our Tranquility Inhaler blend has been formulated for those high tension times when we need al little extra emotional support. Lavender and Clary Sage shine in this blend for their sedative abilities that induce feelings of relaxation, clarity, and calmness while alleviating dizziness, anxiety, and irritability. Breathe deeply for 10 seconds, hold for 3 seconds, then exhale slowly for 10 seconds and you will notice a calming tranquility and lightness come over you. This inhaler is gorgeous smelling with essential oils of Lavender, Clary Sage, Tangerine, Blue Tansy, Vetiver and the lightest touch of exotic Ylang Ylang flower.

The skin on the nipples is very sensitive, and the early days of breastfeeding can sometimes mean sore, chapped or cracked nipples. Our breast balm has been specially crafted with botanical infused oils to help soothe and heal, and cocoa butter to deeply hydrate skin and keep nipples soft; it also provides a protective moisturizing barrier to prevent excessive dryness and helps ease and alleviate sore, chapped, sensitive nipples. A little goes a long way, so start by using a small amount following each feeding. All ingredients are baby safe and this balm contains no essential oils.

Last but far from least, we include our popular Baby Bum Balm in this kit. Our formula was crafted as a natural solution for diaper rash but works amazingly well for cradle cap and skin conditions like eczema.
We start our Baby Bum Balm with an infusion of Calendula, Chamomile and a few other gentle, skin soothing and anti-inflammatory organic botanicals, and resins in organic Sunflower and Evening Primrose Oil, melt in organic raw Beeswax and finish with soothing essential oils of Lavender and Chamomile. This silky balm provides a natural moisture barrier for baby's sensitive bottom which helps soothe irritations and protect the diaper area, leaving them feeling soft and silky-smooth.
Use during diaper changes and anywhere on baby for treating boo boos and dry, irritated skin.

When used together, these natural products can greatly improve the hardship that comes post-child birth. This care package may be slightly smaller than you expect, which is due the designed use, so this kit is sized to aid the first week of recovery after child birth.


Our POSTPARTUM CARE KIT is packaged in a 5.5"x3.6"x1" tin and the perfect gift for new mothers and for baby showers. We use potent organic herbs and oils so although some items may seem a little small at first, a little goes a long way. We do however offer all of these items in larger sizes, should our lovely ladies require more.

OUR KIT INCLUDES

• POSTPARTUM SITZ BATH SOAK (7oz)
• For a Sitz or Peri Bath steep 2 tbsp of blend in hot water for 30 minutes, sit and relax. For a regular tub, fill with hot water, keep shallow, and steep 4 tbsp for 30 minutes, sit and relax. Repeat 1-3x daily for 1-2 weeks after having a natural birth.
